RSL Signs Ariath Piol from MacArthur FC

Earlier today Real Salt Lake announced the official signing of Ariath Piol from MacArthur FC in Australia. The fee is undisclosed and also includes another undisclosed sell on clause. Normally as time passes we get that information, when we get it I will make it known on twitter @rslrooster. Ariath Piol is valued at around 250,000$ on Transfermarkt. Other Developments

Since the rumors have hit we have found out the club fully expects him to compete for minutes at the 9. That improves our striker core to Ariath Piol, Forster Ajago, and Elias Manoel. To me this is obviously the weakest part of our roster. I was hopeful the club saw Ariath as a winger which would allow us to bring in another high ability striker. While I am dissappointed, I am hopeful Ariath can help fill the gap left by Chicho Arango and Anderson Julio.
