Elias Manoel Linked With Brazil

It was announced today that recent RSL forward Elias Manoel will be transferred abroad for a fee greater than what we paid for him. This was announced by Tom Bogert. I have heard rumblings the club is in Brazil. I have also understood that this is sort of a Doncic to Lakers trade. Manoel did not want to leave New York, and if he was going to he wanted a bigger contract for more years. RSL was unwilling to do this. As such, Manoel never reported to Utah. This should be a pretty simple split, if we sell Manoel abroad we will not be recoup the majority of the GAM spent to acquire him. That along with the draft picks received in addition to Manoel will leave us in an okay spot. Obviously we'd prefer the move to have been smooth and have a backup striker, but that's life.
