Diego Luna to Leeds

It was rumored that Diego Luna could be transferring to Leeds United who are in first in the English Second tier. The rumored amount is 6.6 Million dollars, just below the transfer fee for Andres Gomes last year. The Real Salt Lake roster is built with Diego in one of the attacking midfielder positions. We do have Dominik Marczuk and Diogo Goncalves as players who can occupy the other positions. However if we lose Diego we would either need to replace him or start options like Tyler Wolff or Lachlan Brook who are unproven with the club. Transferring Diego would open up another U22 slot. However, having Diego as both a U22 and supplemental roster player gives us an incredible amount of flexibility.
