Kevon Lambert goes on Loan to Louisville City of the USL Championship

Today it was announced that Real Salt Lake defender Kevon Lambert was sent to Louisville City on loan for the entirety of the 2025 season. Kevon was also on loan last year with Phoenix Rising. Kevon was signed during a time of need for centerbacks and was also signed by a different GM. Since signing with Real Salt Lake at the end of the 2023 season he made two appearances as a sub both in the 2023 season. Kevon's contract lasts until the end of the season. This was Kevon's last day with Real Salt Lake unless his contract is extended or his loan is cancelled.

Kevon occupies a senior roster slot. His departure from the active roster frees up both a Senior Roster slot, an international slot, and frees up his cap hit.
